Description

清乾隆时期拟古之风大盛，此器别具巧思，用大竹根仿商周青铜器造型作大口尊，四面出戟，腹部以弦纹为界，上半部为雕回纹地螭龙纹，下半部为回纹地兽面纹。此件竹雕仿古器虽然细节毕肖，但非纯粹仿古形制，在一器物上综合了不同时代的纹饰，符合乾隆朝喜尚繁复华丽装饰的造器风格。故宫博物院有类似藏品，但本器包浆更为古厚滋润。参考：同类器物见刊于文物出版社《中国竹木牙角器全集》第一卷P134 Lot156号。来源：香港苏富比拍品。
