A good 19th century Anglo-Indian carved sandalwood and sedali banded workbox
of shallow sarcophagus form with ivory stringing and silvered brass bale carrying handles on turned feet, the lid fitted a mirror and leather writing board, the interior well fitted with various lidded compartments with unusual white metal rosette finials and sewing requisites, 17cm high x 44cm wide x 29cm deep
