Circa 1795, the superstructure with a hinged top above two faux drawers, over four short cedar lined drawers, with a hinged foldover top below, above one drawer with a secret side stationery drawer, on ring turned tapering legs, 51cm wide x 42cm deep x 97cm high, (20in wide x 16 1/2in deep x 38in high)
|The interior of the offered lot is mounted with an oval brass plaque which is engraved: 'The Gift of Sir John Gore to his little friend Fanny, 1806'.
