18th centuryThe jar of baluster form, finely painted in cobalt blue simulating 'heaping and piling' with a scrolling lotus flower head meander, above a lappet leaf border at the foot and a ruyi-head and whorl diaper band at the wide shoulder, reserved on a lemon-yellow enamel ground, the base ground down, box.7.5cm (3in) high (2).
