16th/17th century to 19th centuryThe first bottle vase cast with bejewelled swag motifs, flanked with small elephant head handles, raised on a further three elephant head-form feet; the vessel modelled after an archaic ritual bronze, ding, and with ruyi-head and key-fret decoration at the border; the enamelled vessel with three lobed feet, with a flower head meander to the exterior. The largest: 20cm (7 7/8in) high (3).
