Two banded agate snuff bottles19th/20th century
Both well-hollowed; the first a dark gray agate bottle marked with two striking, pralleled white bands, carved with a large carp on one side; the second a caramel and gray-toned bottle, its lower section encircled by intriguing bands in white and off-white colors, each broad side decorated with a bird perching on a flower tree, flanked by a pair of lion mask-and-ring handles on the narrow sides, the foot carved with prunus branches.
