Each posed standing alertly with a a bell hanging from the chain-shaped collar, the tail curled inward to form the handle on a hinged cover opening to a hollow interior, the mouth inlaid in white enamel, the head and back showing a transverse strip of blackish brown enamel in contrast to the mottled brown enamel applied to the remaining surfaces.
