A group of five uncarved sealsQing dynasty or laterThe first of rectangular section surmounted by a recumbent beast emerging from smoke scrolls, carved from stone of cloudy gray hue; the second of rectangular section, surmounted by a recumbent leonine beast finial, carved from the stone of dark chocolate hue; the third of thin ovoid section carved from stone of yellowish khaki hue streaked in patches of black; the fourth of thin ovoid section carved from stone of mottled chocolate color; the fifth of thin ovoid section and surmounted by a recumbent lion finial, carved from stone of cloudy gray color with a yellowish tinge to some areas. 1 5/8in (4cm) height of first and tallest (5).
