The 18th century clock is housed in the Frick Collection, New York. An original18th century model of this clock was exhibited at the Exposition d'Art Français du XVIIIe Siècle, catalogued by L. Roger-Miles, Galerie Jamarin, Paris, 1916 catalogue number 123. Other similar examples are found in the Wallace Collection and the Palace of Versailles.The Linke title for the regulator was: Régulateur Louis XVI acajou.
