The first of circular form with detached cover decorated in gold nunome-zogan with a temple within a band of leaves, the sides of cover and body with key-fret and leaf bands, the interiors gilt and incised with designs of kingfisher below wisteria and a pair of ducks, the base silvered and incised with hibiscus and the seal of Komai Seibei, raised on four low bracket feet, 7cm diameter; together with another box of hexagonal form, the hinged cover with a fighting dragon and phoenix, the sides with chidori amidst wisteria and a pavilion in landscape, the interiors gilt and incised with a continuous scene of birds below pine, double-mountain mark and 'K.24 GOLD' to base, raised on low tripod supports.
