Carved Mahogany Console Table, possibly Cuba, serpentine top, apron carved with flowers, cabriole legs the knees carved with various fruit, scroll feet, cross-stretchers with urn at the crossing, ht. 34, wd. 46 1/2, dp. 24 1/2 in. Note: With an engraved metal plaque stating that it had belonged to Alfredo Carnot, governor of Mantazas Province, Cuba and sold at the time of his return to Spain in 1898. Dated October 31, 1898.
