本品以黄杨木圆雕而成，身体微微左倾，呈端坐状。开脸圆润饱满，福耳下垂，双目微闭，鼻梁硬挺，嘴角上翘，笑容可掬，神情怡然自得；身着对襟交领外衣，脚蹬方履，双手执莲茎，茎上生出一童子，童子憨态可爱，一手掏挖罗汉耳朵，使得造像更为生动。整体刀法娴熟，人物刻画写实，周身衣褶自然垂动，将罗汉悠闲自得，童子掏耳，两者互动的状态表现的十分细腻传神，诙谐幽默之感，为案头清供赏玩佳物。
