A George III silver swing-handled sugar basket and cream ladle, by Abraham Peterson, London 1790, the ladle by Smith and Hayter, London 1792, shaped oval form, reeded border and swing-handle, on a raised shaped oval foot, engraved with an armorial shield, the bowl with traces of gilding, the ladle initialled, length 15.7cm, approx. weight 8oz. (2) The arms are that of Hertford, Hutton or Bradford impaling Scrope.
