A collection of blue and white miniature vases from the Vung Tao shipwreckKangxi period
Comprising: five of garlic-neck baluster form with flaring mouth and foot, the body with moulded panels painted with flowers, (one with restored rim chip), 14cm high; four of garlic-neck hexagonal form with covers, painted with alternating panels of landscape and flowers, (three with some degree of restoration, one with fixed cover), total height 14.8cm high; a pair of hexagonal vases, each with flaring mouth and alternating panels of flowers and landscape, (one with restored rim chip),14.3cm high; and another similar of more slender form, 13.5cm high.

The group of five baluster vases, each with Christie's Vung Tao Cargo label to base, lot 165. One with additional stock number in pen inside footrim. The remainder each with similar label, lot 150. One with additional stock number in pen inside footrim and on underside of cover.
