Two inside-painted glass snuff bottlesBi Rongjiu
The first a tall, rounded rectangular bottle, painted on a beige-washed ground to one side with a monkey riding a horse symbolizing a quick promotion, the upper left dated renzi (1912), signed with the artist's name, the reverse depicting an elaborate palace compound in a tree-surrounded mountainous setting; the second a flattened ovoid bottle with applied red overlay, each main side with a conforming panel framing either a landscape, or two figures at a pleasant terrace, one side with a dedication description and a painted red seal mark, the other side signed with the artist's name followed with an additional seal.
