Each of the two identical banners designed with a cardboard-backed green silk top cut in the shape of a lotus leaf with embroidered gold veins, suspending separate gold-hued satin silk striping panels, each similarly embroidered with lotus blossoms and graceful leafy scrolls, the center of the vertical panels with a separately applied, large lotus blossoms; lined with a later thin white gauze backing.
