A gold, enamel, turquoise and diamond demi-parure, circa 1835 Designed as a series of black enamel plaques within scrolling repoussé borders, each set with circular and pear-shaped turquoise cabochons with rose-cut diamond accents, the central frontispiece with two interchangeable pendants and an additional link to form a collar, the brooch/pendant, pendent earrings and hairpiece en suite, all mounted in gold, one turquoise deficient from necklace, accompanied by one cluster detached from hairpiece, hairpiece converted from another 19th century jewel, pendent earrings with indistinct French maker's mark, pendent earrings and frontispiece with French assay marks, hairpiece, necklace, one additional link and brooch with French import marks, lengths: pendant necklace/collar approx. 39.5cm, additional pendants 3.1cm-3.6cm, brooch/pendant 3.6cm, pendent earrings 7.2cm, hairpiece 9.1cm x 9.1cm, case with tooled leather exterior (7) Please note that this lot is circa 1870 and not 1835 as stated in the catalogue entry.
