款识：岁在丙辰黄花节，为锦如词兄先生以博一笑，梁溪秦炳文。 钤印：秦炳文印（白文） 鉴藏印：镜塘鉴赏（朱文） 北京翰海1995秋拍Lot 357，RMB: 1.1万成交。 作者简介：秦炳文（1803-1873），初名燡，字砚云，号谊亭，江苏无锡人。又号艺翁、小痴、小痴道人、古华山樵，人号锡山秦叟，室名碧云桐馆、十水五石之斋。太湖画派清代的杰出代表人物之一，晚清海派六十家之一。道光二十年（1840）举人，官吴江教谕，晚年在京任户部主事。三上春闱，留京八载，尝一返里，挈子具北。寄情诗酒，广交游，精鉴赏，所藏皆精品。工书善画，笔致快逸。画擅山水，初师王鉴，後宗黄公望、吴镇，臻其胜境。
