Dutch School, 17th Century Portrait of a Bearded Man, Possibly a Rabbi, in a Turban and Holding a Book Unsigned. Oil on panel, 24 x 18 in. (61.0 x 46.0 cm), framed. Condition: Panel with vertical split to center stabilized with old linen tape to the reverse and with two horizontal wood supports across top and bottom, minor horizontal hairline cracks, old retouch, varnish inconsistencies. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $400-600 Framed dimensions are 29 3/8 x 23 5/8 x 1 3/4 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
