Consisting of two molded snuff bottles: one decorated with shoulao and deer on each side against a repetitive geometric pattern covered in red enamel to simulate cinnabar lacquer, the other with two opposing figural reserves separated by a pair of mock animal mask handles; the third a famille rose bottle painted with an episode from the Ming dynasty legend 'Baishe Zhuan' (Legend of the White Snake).
