此扇骨上的竹斑作圆形，边缘有不规则齿状纹，大小交错，边缘清晰，几已覆盖整个竹表，难得之品。扇骨十四档，包浆莹润，整体色泽古雅。加之扇骨形制到位，工手一流，可为藏玩之珍。晩清王廷鼎曾说：“余惟见有劈竹织成帘者，即取其斑凑成花鸟之文，共三桁，索价百金。”足见其珍贵。
