Showa era (1926-1989), one dated 1954 and one circa 1980 One oban yoko-e and a large tate-e print: the first a yoko-e of Hakone Shinsenkyo take no oniwa (Bamboo Garden, Hakone Museum), dated 1954, signed Toshi Yoshida in Roman script on the margin and Toshi with seal Yoshida in Chinese characters within the image, 25cm x 39cm (9 7/8in x 15 3/8in); the second, a large tate-e sheet of Matsu (Pine) from a triptych Sho, Chiku, Bai (Pine, Bamboo, and Plum [The Garden of the Three Friends]), signed in pencil in Chinese characters Yoshida Toshi in the margin and Toshi with seal Yoshida Toshi within the image, 51cm x 27cm (21 1/16in x 10 5/8in); both framed and glazed.
