The carved as an open lotus flower with conforming lobed rim, the recessed base bearing a Qianlong six-character mark in underglaze seal script; the second decorated to the gently sloping cavetto with three leafy lotuses encircling an additional large blossom on the broad floor, the pale celadon glaze covering all surfaces except the iron-red foot rim burnt in the firing.
