Showa era (1926-1989), circa 1946 An oban yoko-e print, titled along the left margin Yuyado no asa, Shiobara Arayu (Morning at Arayu Spa in Shiobara), depicting distant mountains viewed through the open shoji sliding doors, a hot water kettle and a pair of tongs for charcoal on a brazier flanked by two large cushions on the tatami floor in front of a tenugui (hand towel) draped over the wood banister, not dated, published by Watanabe Shozaburo, with a 6mm round Watanabe seal at the bottom right corner; signed Hasui with Kawase seal. 27cm x 38.7cm (10 5/8in x 15¼in).
