款识：不为俗情所得 说明 说明：带桐木木盒 备注：有小磕此炉为精铜制，入手沉稳凝重，叩之其声清脆。器身仿马槽式，两侧长方形戟耳，平口斜直壁，直角形四足。器底镌“不为俗情所得”六字减地阳文篆铭，字体雅正章矩。马槽炉为方正耿直之器，一般铜炉均取“天圆”之统，惟马槽炉则循“地方”之制，系由《宣德彝器图谱》之台几炉式衍化而成，特为明清时期文房清供所崇尚，多为官宦富贵人家定造之物，故有“马槽多私款，私款多佳器”之说。此炉底镌私款，便是一例。私款铜炉往往精益求精，耗费颇奢，故较一般铜炉尤更精绝，并多为孤品。此炉光素无纹，色泽古雅，造型方正肃穆，款识静逸古茂，可谓佳器难得。
