China, possibly Yongzheng period, modeled after an Islamic-style ewer with tongue-shaped spout, now metal mounted with a chained cap-form cover, the neck decorated with a bulged ring and slightly raised rings, two bands of molded chrysanthemum petals below the shoulder and above the foot with an undecorated broad band in between, six-character Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue on base, ht. 11 3/8 in.
