2000年畢業於重慶西南師範大學美術學院，獲碩士學位並留校任教至今。2004年9月至此12月赴英國威爾斯大學作訪問學者，曾在東北威爾斯大學設計與藝術學院進行教學和講座等學術活動。
主要展覽有：中國油畫大展、重慶市首屆油畫展優秀作品獎、《魯藝杯》全國師範院校教師美術作品圖片展優秀獎等等。
熊沁作品中的圖像脫離了原本所代表的意義，由不同領域的圖像被拼貼、錯置後產生了嚴肅與趣味之間的衝突矛盾。他的創作靈感取自諸多生活型態而來的感受，被放置在一起的圖像同時衍生出超越現實的隱喻意涵，記憶與情感的融合併發引人深思的張力。
