|玉质花插，最早出现于明代，造型以灵芝、玉兰为多见。花插厚重，纹饰简练，极少雕刻枝杈。而清代花插造型以动、植物为多，如双鱼、灵芝、佛手等。取材多样，计有新疆和田白玉、青白玉、黄玉、碧玉等，写实生动，造型优美。本品以上等黄玉圆雕而成。质地极佳，温润如脂，局部略有褐斑。中空，器身外侧雕连绵枝叶，镂雕一螭龙攀爬形其上。雕工精致，抛光细腻。花插外部纤枝束束，极具“净若清荷尘不染，亭亭玉立倚栏杆。”之风姿，高洁意态，栩栩如生。
