紫金釉又称“酱釉”，始烧于明早期，为追摹北宋时期紫定釉而作。此式紫金釉碗，清代御窑常见以内施白釉、外施酱釉者，另可见类拍品之内外均饰紫金釉者，色沉而不暗。拍品碗形端正，内施白釉，外壁满施紫金釉，光泽莹莹，为光绪色釉隽品。
