此类苹果尊或始创于清康熙御窑，因造型酷似苹果而得名，属苹果形水盂，康熙一朝以后鲜有烧制，拍品为清晚期慕古佳作。
拍品形若苹果，颈肩部内凹，造型饱满。通体施豇豆红釉，釉色妍丽沉着，为文房书斋陈设把玩佳器。
