款识：乾隆八年五月，瘦瓢黄慎写于芝山堂。|题跋：岁在丁卯荷月偶题于书屋之中。雪山藏。|钤印：黄慎|鉴藏印：雪山 |作者简介：黄慎（1687-约1768），初名盛，字公懋、躬懋，康熙六十年更名慎，雍正四年改字恭寿，别号瘿瓢山人，简称瘿瓢、瘿瓢子，东海布衣、苍玉洞人、胡涂居士等，福建宁化县人，定居扬州。工诗，善草书，尤擅人物、花鸟、山水，早年工笔人物，受上官周影响，气象雄伟，自创一格，对后世人物画影响很大。山水取法倪、黄，写意花卉神韵生动，得荒率之致。擅长草书，学怀素兼取孙过庭、颜鲁公笔法，自辟蹊径，形成独特风格。为「扬州八怪」之一。
