款识：映帷斋制 压经炉之经典造型，样式典雅大方，呈黑漆古皮壳，古色古雅，庄重沉稳。口沿扁平宽厚，腹部圆鼓，其上两耳亦较宽厚，耳上有翘角，为标准的压经炉造型。棱角清晰分明，底部有三乳丁足。因精铜所炼，手感尤为沉重。底铸“映帷斋制”私家款，底款方正。 陈庆鸿《大明宣德炉总论》一书中收录多件同类器型、款识作品，可供参考。压经炉又称“押经炉”，宣德皇帝用以赏赐佛教寺院，后来寺院多有仿制，成为专门的礼佛之物。 在宣德炉鉴赏体系中，器形、皮色、款识是最为重要的三个方面，此炉形制经典，简练素雅，皮色温润，又属私家名款，确为炉之珍宝。
