五行黑色为水德，秦朝天子之服皆尚黑。自此后历朝帝王贵胄，皆对此深邃凝重、遁空无形，蕴含宇宙奥秘的颜色推崇至深。时至清代，喜好各色慕古的雍正皇帝亦对象征权贵的黑色颇有青睐。从清宫档案中可察见，雍正帝对于黑色亦十分痴迷。如雍正曾御批“黑白玛瑙盒西山石砚一方，做法文雅，甚好”，“做肃静文雅即好”等。 墨地绿彩制作工艺复杂，需先在高温烧好的素瓷上用“珠明料”描绘纹样，并填满纹样空白处，然后在整个画面上覆盖一层水绿色料，待干后入窑二次低温烘烧，才能达到墨与绿相互对比呼应的效果。 整体品相良好
