Slash had an incredible early roster of bands including X, the Germs, and Fear and later expanded to representing other kinds of rock groups with artists such as Faith No More, the Blasters, Los Lobos, and Violent Femmes. The offices for Slash Records were located on a stretch of Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. Directly above the Slash offices was Roy McMakin's Domestic Furniture Co., L.A. showroom. Aside from being McMakin's landlord, Robert became a big collector of Domestic furniture. All the offered lots of McMakin furniture in this auction represent most of the pieces that were acquired or commissioned by Mr. Biggs.
