TWO CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE FOLIATE BOWLS 19TH CENTURY One ogee-shaped, painted with large lotus blooms and shou characters, with a Daoguang mark, the other moulded bowl painted with fruits and flowers and lappets of lotus scrolls and bats, with a Jiaqing mark to the base and of the period 1796-1820, 12.8cm and 14.5cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of Henry Myles-Tarlton (d.1946), Chief Engineer for Bird & Co Mining in India between 1912 and 1932.
