本壶为铁制，形仿天然莲花，造型端庄。壶身为双层莲瓣纹样式，内外各开六瓣，层层相拥，莲瓣宽大肥厚，瓣尖外撇翘起，整齐中不失灵活。
整器胎体厚重，以莲花为形，将花瓣重叠的关系抽象化，造型富有创意，全器布局与造型十分协调，圆润饱满。一侧莲瓣铸铭文：“康熙四十三年九月六日吉日造”。
