【释文】虎踞龙盘 【款识】沙孟海。 【钤印】沙孟海印（白文） 按语：沙翁的擘窠榜书被称为“真力弥满，吐气如虹”。其晚年的晚年尤精行草书，气酣势疾，刚健有力，韵味沉厚，雄浑遒劲，卓然成家，极具气势。此件沙孟海《虎踞龙盘》榜书，仅四字整幅字已有三十平尺，每一字均有小人大小，铺张开来，气势极足。四个大字结字的斜画紧结，不主故常；用笔的侧锋取势，迅捷爽利，锋棱跃然；线条的浑厚朴拙，于纵横之间任其自然，古拙朴茂，一如草木之由春之绚丽多姿，至夏之煊赫灿烂，再入于深秋的豪迈深远，最终归于冬之空旷无际。
