此件作品铜质精炼，胎体厚重，作圆壶造型，撇口，粗束颈，折肩，肩部两侧对铸双兽耳，侧首凝望，身躯健硕，长尾自然下耷，憨态可掬，正面饰仿古纹，弧腹下收，线条流畅，底承圈足，其势外撇，底心铸有铭文。
整体造型简约，饱满敦厚，皮壳醇美，黑漆古色蕴藉其上，仿古红斑绿绣遍布，浑然古茂，谦素而内敛，美不胜收。
