A Meissen circular shell-moulded snuff box, mid 18th centuryThe exterior moulded in relief with lines radiating from a central foliate motif on the base and cover, and parallel wavy lines to the side, the inside cover finely painted with a scene of an Italianate town by a river and a waterfall in the foreground, the interior gilt, 8cm diam.
