此件铜胎掐丝珐琅梅瓶作撇口短颈，丰肩束腰，至底微放，轮廓婉转典雅，相较于清代梅瓶收分明显的形制，更显简洁素雅。整器外壁满施天蓝色珐琅为地，以细线铜丝勾出繁复的缠枝莲纹，其以单线铜丝作枝蔓，连缀出勾叶及仰覆宝莲，布局有致。此器珐琅纹饰显出颇为鲜明的明代风格，掐丝勾线纤秀且多用单线，宝莲填色各不相同，有红、黄、绿白等色，其珐琅釉质不如清代珐琅均匀，但多莹润清透，有宝石般的质感，为明代掐丝珐琅之特色。来源：英国伦敦古董商SPINK&SON LTD
