撇口，鼓腹，双铺首耳，高圈足。通体以掐丝珐琅装饰双龙戏珠图，填彩饱满，制作精美，图案庄重，色彩华丽。肩部饰一对铜制狮铺首耳，錾刻精细，雄壮威严，上挂活环，平添几分威严，彰显王者风范。乃为殿堂陈设之重器。此式双龙戏珠纹掐丝珐琅铺首尊，于明末清初颇为流行。今北京故宫博物院仍存有数例形制、纹饰与本品相类的藏品，可参见《故宫博物院藏品大系·珐琅器编》第2册，图23。本品掐丝线条仍具明代风格，颇具收藏价值。
