TWO ARCHAIC BRONZE GARLIC-HEAD VASES, HU Han Dynasty The larger with a compressed globular body encircled by a plain rib in relief, the tall tapering neck cast with a lobed 'garlic-bulb' mouth above a plain relief band, all on a spreading foot, with a dark brownish-green patina and areas of shallow encrustation, 34cm (13 1/2in) high; the smaller of similar shape but with the surface entirely plain, the surface with a bright mottled patina, 30cm (11 1/2in) high.
