A PALE GREEN JADE CARVING OF A BUDDHIST LION Ming Dynasty Skilfully carved as a recumbent Buddhist lion with clawed feet, finely-incised bushy tail and knobbly spine, the head turned sharply to the right, with prominent eyebrows above bulging eyes, the stone of even greenish-white tone with minor cloudy-white inclusions on the back. 9cm (3 1/2in) long.
