A GREEN AND RUSSET JADE 'LOTUS-LEAF' CUP 17th century Finely carved as a naturalistic furled lotus leaf, vividly curling outwards at the irregularly-shaped rim to form a deep vessel, decorated in low relief with subtle veining around the exterior, raised on an oval base shaped as entwined branches issuing further leaves and a lotus bud, the stone of olive-green tone with russet highlights. 10.5cm (4 1/8in) long.
