AN UNUSUAL BRONZE 'BOY ON LEAF' JOSS-STICK HOLDER 17th century The bronze group modelled as a boy seated upon a large leaf, holding a flowering lotus stem, with a pot behind him serving as a joss-stick holder, 7cm (2 3/4in) wide; together with a bronze seal, Ming dynasty, modelled as a seated Buddhist lion with curled mane and upright tail, with a loose ball in its mouth, with zhuanshu script to the seal face, 3.5cm (1 1/2in) high.
