A GILT-LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF ZHENWU 16th/17th century The Daoist deity cast seated on a rectangular plinth open at the sides and raised on supports, wearing long flowing robes over the armour tied and belted around the rotund belly and terminating in side ribbons, his hands resting over the knees, with traces of red pigment remaining on the lips. 30.7cm (12 2/16in) high.
