A RARE SMALL WHITE JADE 'MEDICINE' CASE AND COVER 17th/18th century Of long flattened oblong form rising from a stepped foot, with chord runners on each side, the exterior carved with archaistic taotie masks and motifs, the cover similarly decorated surmounted by a a small Buddhist lion finial, the stone of even pale white tone. 5.5cm (2 2/8in) high.
