Description

蓝釉始于元代，为明清官窑的重要品种，清代御窑将此釉色专称为“霁青”，取光风霁月，澄雅宜人之意。北京故宫博物院所藏乾隆帝岁朝行乐图（参见《清宫生活图典》，紫禁城出版社，2007年，页224，图3659）中有与此缸相同器皿陈设于清宫御花园中，尤显珍贵。 此缸形制硕大饱满，沉稳庄重，唇口内收，丰肩敛腹，下出平底。器外壁通体施霁蓝釉，上以金彩装饰荷塘鸳鸯图案，画面布局清晰，金彩保存完好，胎体坚实细腻，釉面均匀莹润，色调深沉浓艳，如若蓝宝石之色，明丽绚烂，光晕内敛；内壁及口沿施白釉，釉色通透洁净，白中闪青。
