This piece is the winning entry in a poster contest held by the Columbia Alumni Association for its 2018 conference, She Opened the Door , a weekend of lectures and networking for Columbia students and alums that concluded with an interview with Justice Ginsburg. The artist, Anna Hoover, was at the time a pursuing her Masters in Public Health at Columbia, and her design celebrates Justice Ginsburg's work as a powerful voice of dissent on the court. The conference attendees voted on the winning poster design, which was then given to Justice Ginsburg who had it framed by the Supreme Court Finishing shop and hung in her chambers. None
