See a further example of a bronze hu from the Robert and Jean-Pierre Rousset collection, recently sold at Bonhams Paris, 25 October 2022, lot 8.陶質，方唇折沿，直頸，四面黏燒穿環，面飾虺龍紋，頸部飾菱形紋飾，肩腹一體出四棱，上下鳳八面，每面正中棱線突出成尖角，每面飾虺龍紋，束腰，足四方。 此壺形制，腹若袋狀，四棱交叉凸起，同時期青銅器亦常見之。可比較一件春秋中期龍紋方壺，見《中國青銅器全集》，北京，1998年，編號23。更早相關實例則可參考Robert及Jean-Pierre Rousset舊藏一件西周青銅壺，2022年10月25日售於巴黎邦瀚斯，拍品編號8。北京首都博物館藏一件戰國雙獸耳彩繪陶壺與本件風格類似，惟頸部有獸耳，而本件為四穿環，見《中國陶瓷全集》，上海，2000年，卷2，編號189。
